APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #9049 FOR GLASS PRODUCTS
Description
Bids to provide 'Glass Products' were received from three vendors on February 4, 2009. The bids of Quality Screening Window & Door, Inc., as a primary vendor and Sarasota Glass & Mirror as a secondary vendor were the best total low bids meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department.
Recommendation
That the bids of Quality Screening Window & Door, Inc., as a primary vendor and Sarasota Glass & Mirror as a secondary vendor, to provide 'Glass Products' in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
